One sure-fire way to make your Christmas more sustainable this year is filling your stockings with sustainable gifts. By gifting sustainably, you can massively reduce the chance of unwanted presents being thrown away come 2021, many of which are non-recyclable and end up in landfill. Christmas just isn’t complete without a Christmas tree. But while we are big supporters of twinkly lights and garish baubles, we are bigger supporters of FSC certified Christmas trees. If a tree is certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council, it means it comes from a well-managed forest, which uses minimal pesticides and protects the plant and wildlife within it, making it the far more sustainable option.
